This time of year usually means that gardens are starting up left and right. As the world continues to change there are more and more people thinking about starting their own garden. The trouble is that not everyone has the space for it. So, what if you want to start a garden in planters? What can you plant and what do you have to look out for? They also can have lead in the fabric and you don’t want your plants to absorb that either. In short, you need to do some research on which would be the best for you and your family.

One thing that you want to be mindful of is that you don’t have to go very far to get some food you can plant. There are several vegetables that you can cut a part of them off and put them in the soil, after doing so they will start roots again and grow. This is the most economical and assured way you’ll get a crop. However, you can plant your garden just using seeds. Be mindful that not everything you will plant will make it so, plant extra knowing that.

You might be hesitant to plant outside because of the climate, animals, and bugs. This is understandable. You’ll want to make sure that where you plant will ensure your plants safety. Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with doing your garden in the basement with some grow lights. The upside to this is that you won’t have a “season”. You’ll be able to grow all year round!
